As students progress, they dive deeper into coding with languages like Python and C++, as well as hands on robotics with tools like LEGO Mindstorms, VEX IQ, and even building in Minecraft Education. The courses become more challenging as students grow, encouraging them to create their own projects and explore their entrepreneurial potential.About the RoleWe are looking for a hands on technology teacher who can bring coding, robotics, and creative digital projects to life for kids and teens. Candidate Background, Skills, and Requirements• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a related field, plus classroom teaching experience.• Strong ability to teach across our core content areas: robotics and hardware (VEX Robotics, Arduino, microcontrollers, sensors), block coding (Scratch), web and game development, and 3D modeling and design. Python knowledge is a strong plus.• Comfort teaching more than one programming language or tool. Familiarity with any of the following is welcome: Scratch, VEX Robotics, Arduino, Python, Java, or similar.• Proven experience teaching computer programming or technology to children or teenagers.• Excellent command of English and strong overall communication skills.• Able to work in Beijing, China on a full time basis.Planning and Preparation• Plan lessons, projects, and activities that guide and support each student's learning journey.• Research, identify, and propose the best EdTech tools and practices to keep our courses fresh, introducing students to new and emerging technologies.• Manage classroom logistics for onsite and offsite courses, including IT and audiovisual setup, WiFi connectivity, and equipment readiness.• Prepare student evaluations and assessments as requested.• Substitute for absent colleagues when needed.
